Marie has over 20 years' experience in education finance, initially working for the county council, where she set up and managed both the school finance helpline and the bursar support service. In 2014 Marie moved to what was then known as Dominic Barberi Multi Academy Trust, where she was employed as the primary school Bursar and later the trust finance manager. In 2017 she moved to Acer as trust finance manager.
