We are seeking two new trustees to shape the strategy and direction of RLT— and we are particularly interested in talking to people with expertise in legal matters or alternative provision.

Our 28 schools serve diverse communities across Oxfordshire and Swindon, and we are keen to see that diversity represented on our trust board.

Trustees are responsible for the strategic oversight and direction of the trust and all its schools and entities. They set vision and policies, ensure the quality of education and manage the trust’s finances and property.

Our trustees meet as a full board up to six times a year and in committees once a term. Each trustee is linked with three of our schools, and they get the opportunity to attend their local governing body meetings once or twice a year. Meetings are held in the evening and can be both remote and in person.

You can also contact Louise Askew, Head of Governance and Compliance, by email at laskew@riverlearningtrust.org or by phoning 07970 678962.

Applications close at noon on Monday 27th January 2025. Interviews are expected to be held at the trust’s offices at Gosford Hill School, Kidlington in the following week or soon thereafter.
